Never has there been a figure so magnetically attractive as the archetypal hero King Arthur. What is so special about this mysterious king?

King Arthur

Legend has it that Arthur set up court to rule from Camelot. But is it just the link with Arthur that draws us to Camelot, or is there something more?

Camelot

Merlin is linked in our minds to King Arthur, who could not rule without the wizard to advise him. Yet until the 12th century, they existed in folktales as separate characters.
